I’m thrilled to share my recent journey through a workshop on Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), led by Clare Rosoman. This experience has profoundly enriched my approach to therapy, especially for individuals facing attachment-related challenges. EFIT stands out for its remarkable balance of being both flexible and directive. It offers a clear, coherent map for understanding emotional distress and guiding clients through their healing journey, while respecting the unique nuances of each therapeutic encounter and relationship. I am inspired by the depth of insight and adaptability EFIT brings to the therapeutic relationship. The workshop has been a powerful reminder of the potential we have to foster deep, meaningful change.
