Reduced Fees & Professional Development Hours

CPD:

  • APS, PACFA and ACA members can accrue Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours by participating in CPD activities that they determine to be relevant to their individual professional skills learning plans and goals. These may be self-initiated. CPD activities do not need to be endorsed by the APS, PACFA or the ACA.
  • Please retain your receipt of registration and your certificate of completion to prove attendance for your professional body.

Student rates:

  • Registrants applying for the student rate must provide proof of enrolment in a course of study in a mental health field such as psychology, counselling, social work, psychiatry etc. Limited student places are available at each training event.

Scholarship places:

  • Registrants applying for scholarship entry or fee reductions must apply using this form.
  • Limited places are made available at Clare’s EFCT and EFIT training events. More places are able to be offered for online trainings than at face-to-face trainings due to the venue-hire and catering costs involved for in-person training events.

Scholarship Opportunities at BCEFT

Diversity, Equity & Mentoring Scholarships

EFT trainer Clare Rosoman is dedicated to making EFT accessible for all therapists and for all human relationships. She is committed to embracing diversity in the EFT community and expanding the reach of EFT into under-served or marginalised groups, especially in Australia. In line with this commitment, Clare offers several reduced-rate and scholarship options to make training in EFT accessible for therapists who might encounter barriers in accessing EFT training and for those providing EFT to under-served groups.

  1. 100% Diversity & Equity Scholarships: Clare offers one no-fee place per core training event (Externship in EFCT, Core Skills in EFCT, Essentials of EFIT, EFIT Mastering Skills Course and EFIT 1-day workshops) for therapists who have a lived-experience of marginalisation and who have found the cost or other factors to be a barrier to accessing EFT training. Applications are welcomed from therapists who meet this criteria and priority will be given to those who work with clients from marginalised groups in Australia.
  2. 50% Mentoring Scholarships: Clare also offers 1-2 places per core training (Externship in EFCT, Core Skills in EFCT, Essentials of EFIT, EFIT Mastering Skills Course and EFiT 1-day workshops) as a partial scholarship for those who are passionate about bringing EFT to under-served or marginalised groups in the Australian EFT community. These scholarship places include a 50% fee-reduction on the registration fee for the training event. Clare sees this as her way of supporting and mentoring therapists who are keen to expand the reach of EFT into under-served groups and communities in Australia.
  3. Students & those in financial hardship: students enrolled in a course of study in the field of mental health such as psychology, counselling, social work etc. can apply for a student discount upon proof of enrollment. Those in financial hardship can also apply for a fee reduction but these applications are taken on a case-by-case basis and depend on numbers of scholarships/mentoring places already being given at each training event.

Scholarship terms and conditions:

  • A small number of scholarship places are allocated per calendar year.
  • Our diversity and equity scholarships and mentoring scholarships are only offered for the following courses: Externship in EFCT, Core Skills in EFCT, Essentials of EFIT, EFIT Mastering Skills Course, and EFIT 1-day workshops.
  • All scholarship places are valid for the current calendar year and cover attendance at the named event at the applicable rate according to the level of scholarship awarded (i.e. Diversity and equity scholarship = 100% of the fee covered; Mentoring scholarship = 50% of the full fee covered).
  • Scholarships are not transferable to another participant or across calendar years.

Currently, all Diversity & Equity and Mentoring Scholarship places for 2023 have been allocated.
